The Face Shop : CC cream & clay mask

Recently got my hands on two products from The Face Shop which I think I should do a review on.


Aura Control Color Cream

First item would be their CC cream! It was a gift from my dearest chingyus on my birthday and I could not express how thrill I was cause I've been wanting to get my hands on a CC cream to see what is the fuss about!


For you out there who has not use CC cream before, it is like the baby sister of BB cream. lol. CC cream basically has everything of a BB cream but usually of a lighter coverage so that you don't feel like you are wearing heavy make-up and it is to ensure even skin tone all over your face.

1) It comes with HYUN JOONG!! 

i secretly would admit that I love the box more than the content. lol.

2) Inside there is a mask and a tumbler alongside the CC cream.

Aura Color Control Cream, basically what CC stands for.or some might call it colour correcting cream. It is like a compact powder design. Very different from most liquid item would be especially compare to BB cream that we usually finds in a tube.

When you press the button, the liquid will come out from a little hole and I need like less than two press for my whole face. The Face Shop CC cream is suitable for all skin type

Pros:

1) I love the design! Very unique and easy to use.

2) It is very light and almost felt like you are not putting any make-up on but yet you can see that it has cover all the redness on your face.

3) Does not make your face looks like a ghost like most BB cream does.

4) You can get replaceable refill

Cons:

1) A lil pricey than most BB cream available if you are thinking of whether to get this or continue with BB.

2) If you need heavy coverage then this would'nt be that suitable.

Pore Minimizer Controlling Clay Mask

Usually I tend to buy sheet mask when it comes to pore minimizing ones but I realize it is really costly and somehow for people like me who does'nt sleep early, pore minimizing mask is almost as essential as eye-roller for dark circle. So, I got my hands on their pore minimizer clay mask.

It helps to :

1) Control excess oil build-up

2) Helps to tighten your pores

3) Moisturizes your pores

Apply after toner and leave on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off.

 Pros

1) I find it works because I can feel like my skin did tighten. 

2) Easy to apply and not messy

3) Affordable price

Cons

1) You might not want people to see you when you are putting on the mask because of the obvious clay colour.
