Alexis - Bangsar (Telawi) Birthdays
Coming from a humble town, I know nothing about the KL life except for the infamous traffic jam but after settling here for some time, I learned a thing or two. The nearest happening place to my place is Bangsar and initially to me it was just where Mid Valley is. LOL but apparently there is a saying known as the Bangsar life!
I am still not so sure exactly what does it means but I guess in a small town girl dictionary means where all the beautiful & rich people dine in style every single hour and one char keoy teow will cost you like RM17? Haha.
One of my dearest Chingyu decided to celebrate her 21st birthday at Alexis (bistro & wine bar) and I get a taste of the Bangsar fuss. Alexis has such a good ambiance that instantly puts people to comfort! We were at the 2nd floor which has like a long table suitable for anyone who wants to held a dinner party.
I was told that their tiramisu is the best and so i ordered one for myself. It is not your usual tiramisu and it has lotsa nuts on it! So if you love nuts, you will definitely enjoy it.
Alexis charge corkage fee for wine and cake. So if you want to bring your own, remember to pay up ;) but I personally think you should just have their cake instead unless your friend baked a huge box of cupcakes just for you!
The exact day the following week was another friend of mine's birthday. This time is her 20th birthday and guess where we celebrated her birthday? Alexis again at the same table! haha.
I did'nt dine anything this time because it was more of a drinking session.
