OPI : Mariah Carey Collection

If you have yet to know, I have a obsession with nail art/manicure or whatever you prefer to call them. Of all things, yes, I care about what is on my little nails a lot!

Back then, I change my design every 3 days and I DIY all my nail art because I am such a cheapo. I was asked once to actually do it for real and earn from it by one of my customer during my part time job but I figured that would be impossible because all my nail art are actually cheat nail art. Lol.

That means, from far it will look so fancy and bla bla bla but up front it will look like a pile of IDKwhat because I suck in drawing or in fact anything that requires perfect execution. fml.

So if you are as sucky as me, let me tell you the ultimate cheat and that is OPI!

OPI has created so many types of collection over the years and it requires absolutely no talent in you to have that beautiful nails. All you need to do is:

1) Buy the bottle
2) Open the bottle
3) Paint your nails.

TADA!

You are probably figuring why are you wasting your time reading this bullcrap.

I recently purchased my long awaited Mariah Carey liquid sand collection (the first collection). The swatches are so beautiful and looks so good! It was love at first sight. Liquid sand is a new technology used on lacquer which means that when you apply it, it gives you a sand surface like the caviar and fur type.

1)

I bought the mini collection because I love to have them in a box and personally I don't think I can ever finish one normal size bottle. The mini collection consist of the four liquid sand colour.

2)

3) The Impossible, Can't Let Go, Get Your Number, Stay the Night
My fave is definitely Can't Let Go and Get Your Number

I am very amazed with how easy the application is and it needs only like two time application for it to look opaque. The pic above is taken after two coat. Sorry for the fat chubby fingers of mine.

At first I was actually worried that it will be like those nail polish with flakes inside where you can hardly get the flakes on the nails but it is absolutely not true! The whole nail's surface was covered with the sand effect.

Even though OPI is more expensive than normal beauty brand nail polish, it is definitely worth it for its:

1) Lasting
2) Application
3) Quantity

OPI has launched the new Mariah Carey collection and it is the holiday collection. The range of colours is wider and the shades are actually darker than the first collection but in a way it seems like sexier?

4) All Sparkly and Gold & I Snow You Love Me seems so pretty!

5) This is the liquid sand Holiday collection.
Baby Please Come Home & Its Frosty Outside shall be my Christmas wishlist ;)
