Review: O.P.I (Not Really)
It has been some time since I last review on beauty products. Lately I had a try out on some well..... Cheat OPI. In other words, fake ones. :p
I am pretty certain you would have seen many OPI bottles out in some night market that looks exactly the same as the original ones. I would say the appearance is flawless and if they are to be placed in the same pile of original OPI, you won't be able to detect them at all.
Price? I have seen some selling at RM5 per bottle and the ones I tried apparently cost either 3 for RM10 or 4 for RM10. I don't remember because I did'nt purchase them myself but overall the price is dirt cheap when comparing it to ori that cost like RM60+ for one bottle.
I have never seen any fake minis so I am not sure if there are any in the market.

#With me here are two bottles. One is in a turquoise/green colour and the other is in gold.
#This is a clearer picture of the gold.
I've actually been looking for a decent gold colour to add
to my collection and even though this looks okay for me compare to many other shades but
I still find it too orangy. Personally, this looks a lot like OPI simply smashing.
# Basic thing to check: the name of the polish.
This is one of the common trick to check whether is the OPI real or fake.
#This is the turquoise colour which is a beautiful colour as well but I personally
have something very similar from Elianto.
#Let's check the name again! It is called Siberian Nights again which is the same
name as the gold. Hence, you would know that this is impossible to be actual OPI product.
#This picture is not my own but this is the actual Siberian Nights colour.
Obviously the name fits dark purple better than for gold or turquoise.
# VOLA! this is how it looks like after applying it on my nails.
Comments:
1. Application is not as smooth as ori but very tolerable.
2. It is thick and hence only requires the basic two application.
3. It does not gives a smooth surface after applying it (for the turquoise). Surprisingly quite smooth for the gold colour. I call the uneven surface as bubbles, I don't know what everyone else calls them. :D
4. It chips at a average rate with China Glaze topcoat. The chipping part is not flaky like any cheap nail polish are.
5. I would say it is very worth it when it comes to the quality you get with the price you pay.
