I Want A Boyfriend......................

............ Jeans that is. A boyfriend jeans.

I have been obsessing over boyfriend jeans because of Vivi February issue. I always thought that boyfriend jeans is horrible and also because I have always hated long pants until recently. However, I was still very skeptical in getting them because I personally believe that boyfriend jeans is for skinny peach and I am not one. >.>

I still believe that it is true but then again a skinny peach looks good in everything and if I am going to hold on to it then I can forget about trying on anything. So screw that. Boyfriend jeans can come in shorts of long pants but I personally prefer the longer version. Apart from that, people will usually get the distressed bf jeans but you can always go for the normal design too. Pairing them with a crop top and a big jacket is the best!

Bf jeans looked sooooo comfortable and portrays a laid back persona but I think most guys don't think it is appealing on woman and probably there are girls who think that it looks like plumber plants. Photobucket maybe.....

I spotted few of the celebrities rocking them and my fav girls Cara Delevingne and Victoria Beckham are pulling them off so well!

# Cara why you stunning? Photobucket

# Queen VB <3

# Riri was also spotted wearing and she has been spotted wearing it on few occasions

# Kim K was spotted in one too.

With heels or with slippers, with a t-shirt/blazer/crop top does not matter so long as you are comfortable with what you are wearing and the confidence you put on will pull off anything. ;)

To my horror, bf jeans are soooo expensive. Even from online websites they cost like RM169! Photobucket wth. I'm not paying for anything more than RM100 for them okay. In fact my budget is like RM50. haha. I've checked out some brands who have a high possibility of carrying them now but they all cost RM100 - RM200. I think Zara is around RM199 min and Cotton On is probably around RM149.

# Pull&Bear @ Asos / £30

# Topshop / RM233

One of the reasons why I am not willing to pay that much is first of all, unless it is a all occasion friendly and timeless piece of clothing, I am not willing to pay RM100+ for it because fashion comes and go and one moment you love it and next thing you know, you feel fat and look ugly in it. I think it is some spell the fashion industry put on us or maybe we are spoiled and insecure.

Apart from that, if it is a pants, it is really hard for me to buy them online because cutting for every design is different and you HAVE to try them on to know if they fit. Buying them online is taking a huge risk and you don't want to pay 100+ for a risk. You want 100% sure that for that amount of money, you are getting ASSURANCE!

I did manage to find some blogshops selling at a much cheaper price range but obviously the material will be of much lesser quality. Probably it will not be made out of soft jeans material or etc but I don't personally think that it will be much of a problem. You can also hunt them at Ebay for like 15-20 US dollar. So I am waiting still to get them because I am out of my budget for this month to purchase anything. Photobucket

So what do you think? A yay or a nay?

Xoxo
