Bio-Essence Shape V Face Royal Jelly+ATP

On Halloween I went to Bio-Essence V Shape Face Bloggers Celebration Tea Party @Ben's BSC. You can read about it HERE!

As you all know (if you have read the post about the event) I got myself a set of the products and I am here to talk about it! :D

This latest V Face Series is created with ingredients such as Bio Energy Fluid, Bio Mineral Amino Acid Essence, Ginseng, Aloe Vera, Angelica, Royal Jelly & ATP. These ingredients are used to stimulate the skin's metabolism.

So what's with this Royal Jelly & ATP that is added to this long time successful range or products?

Bio-Essence discovered that the Queen Bees has a lifespan of 40x longer than normal bees and they feed exclusively on Royal Jelly. This shows that the Royal Jelly gives a anti-ageing/longevity effect. Normal bees usually live up to 7 weeks while Queen Bees generally live up to 300 weeks.

ATP on the hand stands for Adenosine Triphosphate (when I heard ATP, my whole science students memories came back and oh my sweet sweet Chemistry that I misses so much). ATP helps to supply energy to the skin cells and by improving the micro-circulation, it helps to repair and renew the skin.

Okay now enough of all the Science-y stuff and let's go straight down to the products itself. (p.s excuse the horrendous eye bags, the uneven eyelid of the day and the extra few pounds.... I dunno what the coconut happened that day) 

STEP 1: Deep Cleansing Milk

• It is a gentle formula that is suitable for both eyes, face and neck area
• Effectively removes all traces of makeup and impurities while keeping the natural moisture.

MY SAY: I personally love this and I've been using this whenever i apply makeup. Sometimes when I am so lazy, i just take this to wash away my make-up while taking it as a cleanser as well and just go to bed after that. That being said it is only for light make-up.

STEP 2: Deep Exfoliating Gel

• Gently exfoliates the black and white heads.
• Exfoliates deep layer of dead skin to helps in products absorption 
• Brighten dull skin, makes dry and rough skin softer and smoother.

MY SAY: This exfoliating gel/face scrub is really mild and unlike normal scrubs where you are to only use it 1-2 times a week, you can use this everyday because it does'nt hurt ur skin at all! You won't feel like rubbing sand paper on your face and it is so important to use this. I know many people will skip this step but please don't! With all your pores clogged, your other products would be like going down the drain when you apply them.

STEP 3: Nourishing Deep Cleanser or Foamy Cleanser

• Thoroughly cleanses the skin that has dirt and oil trapped deep in pores.
• Deeply nourishes skin while cleansing, leaving skin smooth and fresh with no tight feeling.

MY SAY: Suitable for people with acne and oily skin. For people who usually has dry or perhaps just normal skin can avoid using this. Indeed there was no skin tight feeling for me. However, I would say that there is nothing special about it and there are many other brands out there that can give you the same result.

• Removes impurities and dirt in pores and thoroughly cleanses the skin.
• Gives the skin a nourish and smooth feeling while cleansing because of the herbs nutrients and minerals used.

MY SAY: I love this! At the beginning, I was quite skeptical to how foamy it would be because it does'nt looked like so but it does! The more you massage it all over your face, the foamier it gets. Apart from that, because you would only need a small amount for this cleanser, it will last for so long and yes, it does make your skin feels smoother.

STEP 4: Deep Nourishing Toner

Okay, so I accidentally deleted the pic I took with the toner and here is one without my giant face.

• Fast absorption into skin and deeply hydrates and soften skin.
• Clear and refine pores.
• Restore skin's radiance and suppleness.

MY SAY: First of all, kudos to the packaging! I was totally blown away with the design and the bottle. It looks expensive. Even my mother was amazed with it. No alcohol is contain in this toner, hence you can rest assure that your face will not feel any tightness and it will be good for your skin. Remember to try to watch out for this whenever you buy a toner because alcohol can dry up your skin from natural oils and at times it is not suitable for sensitive skin people. So kudos to this toner for appreciating your skin.

STEP 5: Radiant Youth Essence

• Rapidly absorbs into skin to intensively moisturises and nourishes the skin making the skin feels soft and smooth.
• Hydrates skin and locks in moisture.
• Reduce signs of skin aging.

MY SAY: First of all, LOVE THE SMELL! It has this super sweet honey smell which is just nice. The design being a 'mini me' version of the toner means that the design is superb as well. My mom always advises me that essence/serum is the most important product. The essence works like a moisturiser for me and I am really please with the soft skin I have because my skin is usually dry except for the T-zone area. As for the skin aging part, I really believe that you would need more time in using it to see the real results.

STEP 6: Face Lifting Cream (THE STAR PRODUCT)

Comes with a measuring tape.

• Lifts facial contours
• Firms aging skin
• Reduces double chin
• Contracts pores & refine skin
• Reduces appearance of ageing line
• Deeply nourishes & moisturizes skin
• Reduces visible fine lines and wrinkles.
• Shape V face, enhancing feminine charm.

MY SAY: First of all, remember to massage it upward lifting motion when applying it. You can use this to replace your moisturizer as well because it does helps to moisturises the skin. When you are massaging it, you will feel this heating up tingly feeling which would makes you think that you are allergic to it but for someone who has such sensitive skin like me, it was'nt allergy but it was just how the product works. No red spot or anything on my skin. Well did it reduces? I would say yes but take note :

1) It could be just reduce of water retention and not fats

2) It could be error in your measurement.

As for other anti aging features, like I said, it would really take some time to see the results and this applies for any other products or brands out there in the market. After all, don't expect it to be some kind of fountain of youth! 

So in the end, it is your call whether to believe what this product says but I would say do give it a try. There is a reason to why they would launch this range again with new technology. If it really sucks then I don't think they would bother to invest in research & development for this new FACE V SHAPE range.
