Birthday is always a good reason to pamper yourself to a fine meal and an opportunity to doll up. So when Dahrick/Mohan/Long Black/The D 20th birthday arrived, we decided to go to Ploy and pretend to be some 'atas' people.
Ploy is founded by Jared Lim who is a food fanatic & private equity investor. It serves fusion cuisine but more focus on Asian cuisine. Ploy is basically a place that serves Asian flavour in non traditional dishes. It is a fine dining place and they have bar there as well!

Crispy Skin Salmon

(it was said to taste good but the only problem was the small portion)

(this was what I had and frankly speaking, I did'nt like it. It was just too plain for me! Almost felt
like as though flavour was forgotten in this dish)

Rumor has it that this taste great and just like that, it has become a proven fact.
The only problem was the itsy bitsy portion.
Dahrick was 'jual-ing mahal' when we told him about the plan and said he might have other plans but looks like someone finally realised that we are all he got :p and gave us a happy cheesy smile for his birthday.
For being an arse, we decided not to put his real name or his 'own fake name' and went with his
worst 'nickname'.
One thing I really like about Ploy is the ambiance. It is such a peaceful and beautiful place and the service on that night was pretty good! Though there were complaints from my friends that it would'nt be the same service during peek hours. I think if anyone is planning to celebrate some anniversary, planning to propose or just taking your love one out for a date, this would be a great place.

Apparently Julian said I look like Lana Del Rey in this pic. I don't know what happened to his eyes that day but my gosh I would do anything to look as stunning as her! Don't care lah, gazillion people disagree but one person said so also I damn happy di.Lol. Lol.
